What’s in a brand? Everything. Blue C Sushi is a brand we created from the ground up. The founders came to us with an idea to do a kaiten sushi restaurant chain in the U.S. It was a concept and dining experience that’s universal in Japan, but new to America.
With the movement toward healthy eating, and global fare, we set out to define a new dining category—a fresh and nourishing sushi experience accessible to “beginners and enthusiasts alike.”
We started with the name and logo. We concepted and designed all aspects of the restaurant environment, extending the brand concept into the menus, place settings, plate system borrowing from the Tokyo subways, the artwork, the music, the videos, take-out, the promotions—everything that would come
together to deliver a delightful, dynamic and evocative brand experience for the guest.
The concept was a success from the day the first restaurant opened in the Fremont neighborhood in Seattle.
We helped Blue C Sushi open many more locations with the same success.
